As the outside temperatures cool, here are some easy energy saving tips for a warm and comfortable business this winter.

 Set the thermostat between 65 and 68 degrees.

 Seal exterior cracks and holes. Small cracks and holes in the walls, windows, doors, ceilings and floors can add up to substantial heating losses. Install or repair weather stripping and caulking to stop air leaks.

 Open the shades or drapes during the day to allow sunlight to heat your business. Keep them closed at night and on cloudy days.

 Make sure furniture, curtains and rugs don’t block the flow of air from vents.
